GG turns 95!

we all went out to GG's house this year to help her celebrate her 95th birthday!! can you believe it? Think of all the things she's seen.... indoor plumbing, the lightbulb, invention of TV, you name it and she's probably been around for it :D We had an outdoor picnic lunch.

The boys loved playing on the stairs since no one around home has any. They rolled those trucks down them for about and hour.

Great America

We made a family trip to Six Flags Great America this summer. It was a beautiful day!!
Hayden was ready to rock n roll on some rides... at least until he went on the first roller coaster and said, "that's enough"

Another purpose was to visit cousin Breana, aka Wonder Woman!!! She looks so amazing as Wonder Woman. Like she was made for the role. Strong woman... not some fairy princess :D

This is Captain Feathersword. He is a close friend of Wonder Woman's.. and he was told to look out for us so he could say a special hello to his friend Jaxson. :D He just LOVED it!!

This is the Dragon float that was designed just for Wonder Woman to "fight/slay" every night. It was amazing!!!Hayden getting a kick out of seeing Scooby Doo

and Marvin the Martian.... one of Tim's favorites.
It was a GREAT day but next time we need to spend at least 2-3 more hours there. We missed quite a few rides. Hopefully we will be able to get there during Fright Fest and hit the rides we missed.

4th of July, K style

So yes this is a picture of beer because that is how we roll for the holiday :)Lucky it wasn't terribly hot and it did not rain. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves eating and drinking said beer.

Hayden was in yet another parade

I swear this boy has been in some kind of parade every year since he was two! This time it was for his karate school. Here's Daddy and Jax getting a good spot for watching and candy catching :DTim was thrilled when he saw the 501st in the parade. They were handing out great bags of marshmallows... not sure why though.
