Road Trip

On Saturday we headed west to my Alma mater, NIU. We met up with my good friend and her new hubby. We ate pizza and caught up. It was great! So nice so see them and see that they are doing well. I really love Crystal and owe a lot to her.
We finished the night off with the to-die-for Ollies's Frozen Custard.
YUM! is all that needs to be said.
(Tim and I have driven 45min before just for this treat :-)

While driving through town Hayden points out the window and shouts,

"Look it's chess!"

We crane our heads around and see the First Street Cemetery. LOL But he's half right. . . all the old headstones really DO look like a big game of chess.

It was a really fun road trip.
