Enjoying the weather

On a rare 70° day in November we ventured outside to enjoy it with the boys. We headed out to a local preserve to take a walk and some fresh air. I managed to capture the last few colors of fall while there and some nice shots of the boysJaxson wants to do everything Hayden does...
My boy...should of turned him the other direction though.

I spent the better part of yesterday morning chasing him around the back yard trying to get a few good fall pictures before Tim mowed all of the leaves up.
Ever try taking a picture of a moving target? It is NOT easy!
I feel I did get a few good ones in but it took a lot to them. :)

and just a tree on our street. Of course with the wind and rain it is a bunch of sticks today.
I'm playing with the idea of starting a blog for just my photography so that way people who want to only see the kids pictures won't be bothered by everything else and then I can share pictures with people who don't need to see the family stuff. I will post a new link if and when I have it up and running.

Pumpkin picture

All I wanted when we got home was a nice picture of the boys and their pumpkins... well Hayden had to go and grab Jax's pumpkin from his hands. Jax didn't think too highly of that!!

Pumpkin Time

We grabbed the kids and hit the pumpkin farm on one of the non rainy days...


The boys really loved it and I even got a few nice pictures in.

and here's the after. I know its hard to see that is a crying screaming boy walking in front of his laughing Mama :-) LOL He hated it once inside... but for the price of those tickets we were walking through the house!
Boys riding the horses... Jax liked it 2 times around then wanted off but when we tried to leave he was waving and telling the bye-bye.
and of course we couldn't leave without our cider doughnut.

Pumpkin Fest 2008

It was such a great afternoon, warm sunny and both the kids were in a good mood. Hayden's favorite event was the Kiddie Run. He ran a good race considering he had a soccer game that very morning. Here he is finishing the race.

Hayden talked me into going on the hayride with him. It was fun for a 2mph ride around the park district grounds in a itchy hay filled trailer bed.
Hayden played artist with is pumpkin that he received for running. It was such a wet gooey mess we had to wrap it in a plastic bag just to get it home.
