First real food

Tonight after an 8oz. bottle Jax was still hungry and wanting more food. We knew the time for cereal was coming but we were trying to wait till this weekend when he is officially 5 months old and also Tim would be home to see it. But he was still hungry, what can you do?
Tim was home so we scooped out some rice cereal and tried it.
Went over okay...not great but hey, he has to get the hang of this first.
After a few bites he was opening his mouth like a little bird wanting more but I just don't think it was fast enough. He started to get impatient that he had to work at eating it and the food wasn't in his belly quickly, like his bottle.

As you can see he was really pleased with himself that he finally got something off the table like his brother and Mommy and Daddy. :)
