Picture on the left was taken in 2005 and the picture on the right was taken this week.I think he's mere days away from being a teenager. * snif snif*

Jaxson enjoyed his first baseball game but it was a very very late night, for both the kids.
Hayden enjoyed a ballpark favorite, a Bomb Pop :)
As I said it was a very long night for the babe.

It was so awesome being back there with our kids. The campground has changed so much. Bigger, newer trailers on the lots and all new faces. But other things like the parks and the movie theater, and the beach have all stayed the same.
After a few bites he was opening his mouth like a little bird wanting more but I just don't think it was fast enough. He started to get impatient that he had to work at eating it and the food wasn't in his belly quickly, like his bottle.
As you can see he was really pleased with himself that he finally got something off the table like his brother and Mommy and Daddy. :)
Last week Hayden and I decided we wanted to go on a picnic at the park. Last minute I remembered the town built this great Splash Pad last year that we had yet to visit. So we packed up a lunch and the towels and headed out.
After all that sitting he was tired out and slept on the blanket for an hour while Hayden ran stupid. Both the boys were wiped out from all the fresh air and sun and Mommie was nicely sunburned :)
Only my darling can cut his finger so severely that he requires almost 4 hours in the ER and 6 stitches, all because he cut his thumb on a glass while washing dishes. :)
Let's just say when Tim does something, he does something right!
All is well now but sore and he officially got out of dish duty (among other chores) for at least a week. I think that was his master plan...I could of thought of less painful and expensive ways to go about it though.
Hayden's response this morning when Tim unwrapped it was "GROSS!"
He's not completely handicapped or immobile but let's just say showering and writing and typing are a challenge.
So any tea and sympathy you can toss his way he would greatly appreciate it :)
*and thanks to my parents who rushed over to watch the kids*

Seems like we're on a winning streak!
He's the first member of our family. Tim and I adopted him the spring before we got married so he's been with us for 9 years!
Children will not remember you for the material things you provided but for the feeling that you cherished them.~Richard L. Evans
