Need of revision..

Now I know I've been slacking because I just realized that I double posted about Hayden's birthday. YIKES!
Now I know I have to get better. I have a whole group of photos to add and now with my new Studio set-up there will be tons more once the Christmas tree is gone and I have room to play :)
Thanks Mom and Dad :) You want your anniversary picture taken now?

again

I'm doing it again... not posting. Well at least on here anyway. I have a zillion and one pictures from the holidays so far and have not edited a darn one. I also have a running list of all the posts I need to make sitting here on the desk. But again my screen time in limited or what time I do have to spent job searching for me as well now. No, I have not been laid off but I need to find employment to supplement the income we are not getting anymore, hence a second job. It's a lot harder out there than it looks.
So I have posts to make and things to say and pictures of my monkeys to show but with the holiday it's just not going to happen right now :)

I hope some of you are out there still reading and patiently waiting. We're all here and well as can be.
Till next time...

Finally O finally!!

THE TOOTH CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

He has had his front tooth just sitting there, crooked, half out, and LOOSE for months! We've offered him toys, money and he still would not pull it out. We offered family to pull it out, we've offered his karate instructors to yank it out. I've even held him down trying to get it out. It was a daily battle for awhile.
Then one night while Tim and Hayden were playing the Wii he fell into a pillow and pushed it backward and was forced to pull it out.
WooHoo!!!
The tooth fairy was written to and persuaded to let him keep his tooth. He did but said it was only this one time... we'll see. The other front tooth is not far behind this one. Maybe in time for Christmas and then Hayden can sing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth!"

Fall Championship 2009

Here he is ready for action!Competing... it always makes me nervous. I know he knows the moves but I worry he will get nervous and get mad at himself for messing up. We thought he did great. Good yells and strong moves but his stance was off. A judge pulled him aside to tell him this pointers. He again placed 4th but we're very very proud!!

The man with his trophy
A proud Mom and Dad... Jax is just as proud be he doesn't know why :)

Last belt, for now.

Hayden tested for his yellow belt with a black stripe... this is the last belt in the children's program. He has gone as far as he can go. We talked with the director and they are going to test him after the first of the year and see if he's ready to move up. I think so but it's not my opinion that counts. :)Here he is, getting the belt. We are so very proud that he has continued on, even with the complaining we always give him the choice if he wants to keep going. I think this will be a great sport for him to keep up with.

Enjoying the weather

On a rare 70° day in November we ventured outside to enjoy it with the boys. We headed out to a local preserve to take a walk and some fresh air. I managed to capture the last few colors of fall while there and some nice shots of the boysJaxson wants to do everything Hayden does...
My boy...should of turned him the other direction though.
The scrunchy smile that we love... it's Jax saying "cheese"

Jaxson just loved being free, as you can tell his feet aren't even touching the ground.
A Hayden photo
Jaxson had the best seat in the house and really liked the ride.

The New Uniform

He looks so good in this uniform... he just wasn't happy about taking the picture. I can't show the cool stitching on the back because it has our last name on it, but trust me, it's cool!

Anytime, anyplace

When Jax wants to go to bed, he will do so... even mid loli-pop. :)

Halloween, a spooky time of year.

Jaxson was a playful elephant this year. I just loved his costume, it almost beat making Hayden a cow for his first Halloween :) Almost. LOL Daddy and the boys before we set out on our journey to acquire CANDY!!
Meeting up with some of Hayden friends! Wish we could of walked with them but we had to beat a path to the grandparents houses.
I love this picture of Hayden!!! He was dressed up at Ash Ketchum from Pokemon. I think his costume turned out really well for a 1/2 bought 1/2 made costume.
Gram, Pa and the boys
Nana and the kids after we were all candy-ed out. Jax was getting tired and it was time to head home.

Jaxson an unwilling photography subject

I spent the better part of yesterday morning chasing him around the back yard trying to get a few good fall pictures before Tim mowed all of the leaves up.
Ever try taking a picture of a moving target? It is NOT easy!
I feel I did get a few good ones in but it took a lot to them. :)

This is the child taking off, cackling the entire way :)

He saw Tim mowing the lawn and was shocked to see him outside as well.

and just a tree on our street. Of course with the wind and rain it is a bunch of sticks today.
I'm playing with the idea of starting a blog for just my photography so that way people who want to only see the kids pictures won't be bothered by everything else and then I can share pictures with people who don't need to see the family stuff. I will post a new link if and when I have it up and running.

Halloween Festivities

We carved our pumpkins last night. We let Hayden have artistic freedom on his pumpkin this year. He even carved it himself.Jax we opted for the safer activity, although he did try to eat the paint and realized yellow is not a good flavor. :) LOL
His pumpkin was so gooped with paint that 24 hours later its STILL not dry :)
Mommy taking her turn
You can see he was very careful with his carving.... one handed and tongue out

The family with our finished product.
They both turned out pretty good for freehand designs.
Jax was enchanted with the pumpkins all lit up.

Pumpkin picture

All I wanted when we got home was a nice picture of the boys and their pumpkins... well Hayden had to go and grab Jax's pumpkin from his hands. Jax didn't think too highly of that!!
Go ahead and click on the picture to make it bigger to see the looks on their faces. Now that you are done laughing here is the nice picture after we calmed the tempers. :)

Pumpkin Time

We grabbed the kids and hit the pumpkin farm on one of the non rainy days...

The boys really loved it and I even got a few nice pictures in.
Jaxson was singing here, hence the hand signs. :)
Hayden surprised us by wanting to go into the Haunted House. This look was after he saw the witch pop out of the window...
Jaxson saw the witch too
Here's the before going in the house
and here's the after. I know its hard to see that is a crying screaming boy walking in front of his laughing Mama :-) LOL He hated it once inside... but for the price of those tickets we were walking through the house!
Boys riding the horses... Jax liked it 2 times around then wanted off but when we tried to leave he was waving and telling the bye-bye.
and of course we couldn't leave without our cider doughnut.
