The Third Generation of FLB

Most of you know I grew up in the magical land of Fish Lake... okay it wasn't OZ but to a kid growing up in the 1980's and 1990's it was pretty close. Kind of like going to summer camp every year but that your parents were there and we had to find our own ways to keep busy (sometimes a HUGE mistake :-) )
These four people plus Krissy and a few others were my childhood, 98% of my memories include these FLB people and their parents. We decided to get together about a month ago to meet n' greet the next generation of campers. Jaxson, Hayden, Ella, Holly, and Adrian plus the new hubby-to-be Jeff.
We met at Lincoln Park Zoo and had a great morning catching up and ogling over the babies. A nice picnic lunch and some more animals and we all called it a day. There were crabby kids and tired adults. Let's face it, we don't walk as much as we use to :-)
So here is FLB 2008 (Krissy is in TX)
The Third Generation
Lisa and Holly (Jax and Hayden's rent-a-cousins ) taking a break for a snack.
My partner in crime, Chris.
Thinking back we got into a lot of stuff and sometimes a lot of trouble :-)
Brooke and her hubby-to-be, Jeff. Such a nice couple! She couldn't have
picked better and neither could he! Can't wait till the wedding 10-10!

Ella and Hayden were just there for the animals...
I think they were looking at the Rhino.
As you can see Jax's first trip to the zoo was uneventful. He was awake to see the monkeys and zebras but after lunch it was all about the nap.
And after waiting all day (not so patiently at times) Hayden finally got to go on the climby-thing. We let him wear out the last of his energy and then sleep in the car on the way home.

Oh my! The memories! How wonderful that you all stayed in touch! I will forever have the image of all of you pouncing down the street at FLB on 2 2x4 long boards with your feet tied with bungie cords handing on for dear life to each other, trying to all walk ogether! Dances, parties, swimming, parades, craft class... ALL Great memories! :)
